THE KIT STORY

Needless to say, when my twin boys were born, I had literally no time for anything else but looking after them. As time passed and they were growing up, next to no changes in my schedule happened, it just changed my principal occupations. Missing my company, my Mom asked me what she could do for me to make our meetings more often. I told her: 'Just come to see us yourself, every time' - for it was always troublesome for the three of us to travel that far. And so she did. It was during one of those meetings, that we had a long and fruitful talk about embroidery. I also showed her some of my favourite ribbon stitches.

After her departure, I picked up my needle and stitched this bouquet - just in a single breath - calling to remembrance some episodes of our talk. It was my mother's day - all the day devoted to conversing with her - much to our mutual pleasure. Therefore, the name of the design was already there: let this bouquet be devoted to one of the most beautiful festive traditions a mankind has ever invented!
