Embroidery by students of classes on ribbon embroidery

Welcome to admire the artworks, worked by my students. They all have studied The Complete Course of Ribbon Embroidery by Little Owl SmartCrafts. They did all those projects by themselves, when having graduated, so that I was not interrupting their creativity! :)

Some projects are designs of our ribbon embroidery kits. Others were inspired by designs of famous ribbon embroidery masters.

1) Designs by Ludmila Kurushina from the town of Vasilkiv, Kiev region. They were embroidered by our ribbon embroidery kits: That is How It All Started, Once in an Old Town Street, The Hidden House. That is what Ludmila told about herself:

"I live in Kiev surburb, the town of Vasilkiv. I have been doing embroidery for about 10 years, but mostly it was thread and seed bead embroidery. I have studied soutache embroidery from Tatiana Popova. There in her studio I saw her ribbon embroidery projects and "falled in love" with ribbon embroidery from the first glance.

Then I visited Tatiana`s classes and... Here you go! I do hope this my hobby will remain for a long time."

2) Designs by Irina Nikolaeva of Kiev, Ukraine. She also did her first embroidered artworks: Tulips by another ribbon embroidery master from Ukraine (by Ksenia Belyh from Lutsk) and a design of one of our kits (That is How It All Started). She told me, these to designs were her main inspiration to start studying silk ribbon embroidery.

"I am a housewife, and I am fond of doing different arts and crafts. It is always fun to try something new and interesting. Still my latest experience was all captured by silk ribbon embroidery..."

3) Design by Katherina Almazova, from Vladivostok, Russia. Katherina came to Kiev on a long-term business trip. Thus we both were lucky to meet each other, for she is a very kind, clever and extremly tallented person. She followed a famous ribbon embroidery by Helen Ericsson.
